About

Alles begann - nicht wie so oft gehört - mit der ersten
geschenkten Kamera - sondern mit der Lehre. Und dem
Wunsch, dass ein Job Spaß machen muß. Fotografie wurde
Leidenschaft, die Lehre ein notwendiges Übel. Danach kam eine
Pause. Ein "sich neu orientieren". Susanne begann sich mehr
der Grafik & Typographie zuzuwenden - bis sie schließlich ganz
in diesem Bereich tätig war.
Ihre eigentliche Liebe galt jedoch immer der Fotografie.

Seit 2003 findet man sie wieder im Studio oder "on Location" -
und Licht ist auch nach wie vor ihre Leidenschaft...
Bilder mit Geschichten - das ist es, was Susanne immer schon
fasziniert hat, erzählt in unterschiedlichsten Lichtwelten.
Beeinflusst sieht sie sich von Herb Ritts, Javier Vallhonrat und
Horst P. Horst - ebenso wie von Erwin Olaf, den sie als genialen
Geschichtenerzähler schätzt...

It started out a bit unusual - not with a first camera - but with an
apprentice ship and the wish for the new job to be fun. Being a
photographer became a passion, the apprentice ship a
necessary evil. After that came a break - a time of "new
orientation". Susanne started looking into graphics and
typography until she stopped working as a photographer at all.
But still photography remained her true love.

Since 2003 she is "back on location" and to work with light
became a passion again. Pictures that tell stories - that's what
always fascinated Susanne.
Photographers like Herb Ritts, Javier Vallhonrat and Horst P.
Horst impress her - just like Erwin Olaf who she appreciates as
a great story teller.
